Our Home Visit Services

Combined wax removal and hearing test home visit.

Cost of the hearing test (£95) will be removed from any hearing aids purchased.

Available to those living within a 15 mile radius of Newbury RG14 5AP. (Those living further away will be looked at on a case by case basis.)

Includes ear examination, hearing test, diagnostics, tinnitus advice and management and consideration of hearing aids.

The £95 for the hearing test will be taken off the price of your hearing aids (when the decision to purchase them is made at, or within 2 weeks of, this appointment.)

Please note that hearing aids cost between £2800 to £4600 for a pair (with the average being around £3800). The price includes your personalised *aftercare service with Tracy James Hearing throughout the lifetime of your hearing aid.

*With the exception of Hearing aid fittings, our free aftercare service is ‘in clinic’ only. For repairs or clean & checks, Hearing aids can be dropped of and collected to our clinic in Wharf Street by yourselves or a friend or family member.

Our other home visit services are as follows:

• Hearing re-assessment £130

There is a £30 charge if referral needed.

Wax removal Home Visit £130 (includes call out fee)

Within a 10 mile radius from Newbury, RG14 5AP.

All home visits over a 10 mile radius are dealt with on a case by case basis

If no wax present the full amount will still be charged.

Free Hearing Aid Fitting - Adults only (Children to be seen in clinic) - For hearing aids purchased from Tracy James Hearing only

If you are fitted with hearing aids as part of a home visit and you decide to return them within the 2 week trial period, a charge of £300 will apply. This will be taken off the refund for the device.

A £35 Call out surcharge will apply for all home visits within a 15 mile radius of Newbury RG14 5AP.

Charges for all follow up home visits over a 15 mile radius of Newbury with be decided on a case by case basis.
