Our Wax Removal Services
It is recommended that your ear wax is softened with olive oil prior to your appointment. See our wax removal page for full guidance.
We offer one free follow up in clinic if we are unable to remove all the wax in one go.
If you are a new client visiting Tracy James Hearing for the first time, our online questionnaire MUST be completed prior to your appointment. The link to the questionnaire is in your confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, check your spam folder and then contact us so we can send you the appointment information and questionnaire link directly.

Includes ear examination, ear wax removal, hearing test, diagnostics, tinnitus advice and management and consideration of hearing aids.
At Tracy James Hearing our aim is to look after your hearing with our range of assessment and treatment services.
If you think you have a hearing loss, or if you already have hearing aids and you’re not happy with them, you can make an appointment to have a hearing assessment with us
£95 will be taken off the price of your hearing aids (when the decision to purchase them is made at, or within 2 weeks of, your appointment.)
Hearing aids range in price from £4200 to £3000 (with £3500 being the average) for a pair.
Wax removal will be by mircosuction. For manual/Curette removal (or irrigation) please complete inquiry form (please note: manual method is unsuitable for deep impacted wax)

If no wax found the cost will be £35. No wax with diagnostic ear exam, referral and advice is £50.

Booking is dependent on:
- A GP/Specialist confirming there is wax present
- Each individual child’s age, and additional needs (such as autism, nervousness, physical needs or emotional difficulties
There is a £30 additional charge if referral required.

Unsure if you have wax?
This appointment is for a free wax check with Sandra.
It includes a check for wax only prior to wax removal appointment (for wax removal appointments already booked, or will book on the day depending on outcome) - no treatment will be given at this appointment.
Appointment time: Approx 10 minutes
