Introducing The The Signia Pure IX by Tracy James MSc CS RHAD
The Signia Pure IX range is a great all-rounder. The look of them are sleek and stylish but they definitely have substance! As an audiologist, I’ve found that the Signia range are really robust and they are great for pairing to several Bluetooth devices, using LE Audio – so you can even connect to your TV if you want to (and it’s modern enough of course)! They also have the AI function, where you can optimise your listening in more tricky environments via the app, which is extremely useful.
Signia are really good at providing amplification just with domes, rather than having to revert to moulds or custom tips. Many of the other brands I work with will need moulds much sooner than with Signia – so it keeps the aid light and less bulky and more discrete for longer.
Signia also have an excellent range of custom-rechargeable models – some of which are invisible in the ear and others which look like Bluetooth wearables. They look less like a hearing aid, but something you’d want to wear as they look like wireless headphones.
Signia has excellent speech in noise strategies, and has been found to really optimise people’s ability to hear in restaurants etc. that perhaps they couldn’t before. It can really be a social life saver!
